Lithophanes are the amazing 3 dimensional porcelain transparencies that we are renown for. As light shines through the varying depths of the etched porcelain panels, they come alive with remarkably detailed images.
“MISSION” STYLE LAMP
This four panel table lamp exudes classic styling, with its elegant shape and timeless design. An antique finish steel frame holds the 4 lithophane panels in place, and sits atop a cast metal base with an antique finish. Note how the two Hosta leaf images shown are a mirror image of each other. This gives the asymmetrical design a sense of balance and flow.The remaining two panels are the same design. Because it is a lithophane, the texture of the carving is beautiful even when the lamp is off.
This lamp ships complete with a 60 watt incandescent bulb. Bulb can be replaced with a standard base LED or Compact Fluorescent bulb. Approx. 19″ tall. Lamp shade is 10″ x 10″ x 6″ tall. “On-off” knob is located on the lamp socket. UL listed.
